Understand the workflow first
What should the application do? Who will use it, and what information is required? We examine the real process before defining functions. Existing files, systems and repetitive actions help describe the need in concrete terms.
A custom solution may extend a single tool or connect several steps. A clear scope is essential. We distinguish what is needed for initial use from potential later additions, keeping priorities and decisions understandable.
Identify the right platform
Windows applications suit desktop work. Android apps support processes on the move or at a particular location. Web interfaces provide information and functions through a browser. The right platforms depend on the devices, users and task.
We develop native and cross-platform Android applications as well as custom Windows and web solutions. Existing tools can be integrated through extensions. TabellenFaktura, for example, connects structured invoice data with a familiar Excel workflow.
Connect data and systems
Interfaces help information move between applications. Together, we establish where data originates, which formats are available and how the steps connect. We also consider feedback, missing information and error handling.
A connection is useful when it fits the overall workflow. We therefore develop the interface alongside the functions behind it. Permissions and understandable states are just as important as processing the data itself.
Try the interface early
An early working version makes requirements tangible. Concrete examples reveal whether inputs are clear, information appears in the right place and important steps have been considered. Feedback from these reviews informs further development.
We examine recurring tasks and situations in which something does not work as expected. A clear error message and a useful next step are part of the application. Relevant processes are tested against the agreed scope.
Plan for continued use
Software evolves with the work it supports. New requirements, platform changes and feedback from users may call for adjustments. An update process and ongoing maintenance therefore belong in the project plan.
Scope, supported platforms and future development are agreed for each project. An existing standard product may still be useful. Together, we assess where a custom application or targeted addition can better support your particular workflow.

Plan with concrete examples
Typical files, recurring inputs and a description of a complete workflow support planning. We look at where information originates and which results are needed at the end. The people involved are equally important: who enters data, who reviews it and who uses the output? A concrete example makes these connections easier to clarify than a long, general list of functions. This creates a foundation for the interface, processing and testing. If several systems need to work together, handovers and available interfaces are considered early. Development remains grounded in the actual task.
