Physio Ölper: From Contao to our Website-Builder

The identity stays. The foundation changes. How we migrated the Braunschweig practice website and what the published test results demonstrate.

Physio Ölper has successfully moved its existing website from Contao to our own Website-Builder. Since 4 November 2026, the site at www.physio-oelper.de has been running on its new foundation. The practice retains its recognisable identity, photographs, logo and the information patients need to take the next step.

The PageSpeed report from the same day provides a concrete result: 100 points for Performance, Accessibility, Best Practices and SEO in both the mobile and desktop tests. The migration combines a familiar appearance with a carefully checked technical implementation.

A new foundation for a familiar website

Physio Ölper is Jennifer Walter's physiotherapy practice in Braunschweig, Germany. Its website introduces the person behind the practice and the services available, offers a view of the premises and leads visitors to directions, opening hours and an appointment enquiry. Those tasks defined our starting point.

Changing the system did not require changing the practice's identity. We preserved the existing appearance as our design reference. Its own photographs, calm presentation and personal approach suit the practice. They did not need to be replaced by a standard template because the underlying technology was changing.

This is a central advantage of our approach: the visible website can follow the needs of the business while its technical foundation evolves separately. A migration can involve a complete redesign. For Physio Ölper, the aim was to preserve what people recognised and improve specific aspects of usability.

From information to an appointment enquiry

Patients need to find relevant information and contact the practice easily. The navigation leads directly to the key sections. Services are clearly organised. Contact details, opening hours and directions sit alongside the option to request an appointment online.

The form supports that process. It collects the required details and includes an understandable insurance-status selection. Fields remain usable on smaller screens. Select controls, validation messages and the submission confirmation have been integrated into the practice's design.

The enquiry is sent to the practice. The sender also receives an acknowledgement. This confirms submission without promising that a treatment appointment has already been booked. The personal message and insurance details are not repeated in that acknowledgement. The practice subsequently agrees the actual appointment with the patient.

Four scores of 100, on mobile and desktop

The PageSpeed report dated 4 November 2026 at 12:31:56 gives the homepage full marks in the four displayed Lighthouse categories for both device types:

CategoryMobileDesktop
Performance100100
Accessibility100100
Best Practices100100
SEO100100

You can view the results in the mobile report and the desktop report.

PageSpeed Insights for physio-oelper.de: desktop scores of 100 in all four Lighthouse categories on 4 November 2026.
The desktop report also shows four scores of 100.

These scores describe the automated test at that point in time. They are not a blanket guarantee for every device and connection. The report does not yet contain real-user experience data. A score of 100 in automated accessibility testing does not replace a complete manual assessment and the SEO score does not promise particular Google rankings. Google explains the distinction between lab and field data.

We nevertheless consider this a strong, concrete result: a personal website with large photographs can deliver high technical quality.

What our Website-Builder contributes

Our Website-Builder is the development foundation we use to build websites for clients. Recurring tasks such as page management, media and navigation do not have to be developed from scratch for every project. The design and functionality of each website follow its actual requirements.

For Physio Ölper, this means a website implemented for the practice with us as the agency responsible for the work. The practice does not have to buy a construction kit or select a fixed design template. We combine the shared foundation with individual implementation and ongoing support.

That combination creates the value. Reusable technology leaves room for the details that define a project: suitable presentation, clear navigation and a coherent enquiry process. The published scores reflect this particular implementation. They are not an automatic consequence of a platform's name.

The website needs to work in everyday use

Patients can still reach Physio Ölper at the familiar address www.physio-oelper.de. Before publishing, we checked the website on smartphones and computers: Is the text easy to read? Does the navigation work? Can visitors fill in the form without difficulty?

Sending an appointment enquiry is part of that process. The practice receives the message and the sender receives an acknowledgement. What matters is that patients can find the information they need and contact the practice easily.

What this project shows other businesses

A website does not have to remain on its original CMS simply because it started there. A migration also need not discard everything that already works. Physio Ölper demonstrates another route: preserve a business's identity, deliberately transfer the relevant content and rebuild the technical implementation.

Whether to retain a familiar appearance or develop a new design depends on the project. We assess the content, the required functions and the people who use the site. More than 25 years of experience help us make those decisions with a view of the whole project.
